1. Acceptance of Terms

By using WebProbe ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

WebProbe provides automated security scanning services for websites, including but not limited to:

SSL/TLS certificate validation
Security headers analysis
Port scanning and network analysis
Malware detection
Comprehensive security reporting

3. Authorization Requirements

IMPORTANT: You must have proper authorization

You may ONLY scan websites that you own, operate, or have explicit written permission to test.

By using our Service, you certify that:

You are the owner or authorized representative of the target website
You have obtained explicit permission from the website owner to perform security testing
You will not use the Service to scan third-party websites without authorization
You understand that unauthorized scanning may violate local, national, or international laws

4. Email Verification

To verify ownership or authorization, you must provide an email address that matches the domain being scanned. For example:

To scan example.com, you must use an email address ending in @example.com
This requirement helps ensure you have legitimate access to the target domain

5. Pricing and Payment

5.1 Free Scan

Each domain is entitled to ONE free security scan. After your first scan, additional scans require payment.

5.2 Pricing

Per-Scan Fee: £249 per individual scan
Annual Unlimited: £999 per year for unlimited scans

5.3 Payment

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards. Payments are non-refundable except as required by law.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to:

Scan websites you do not own or have permission to test
Use the Service for illegal purposes or to violate any laws
Attempt to circumvent our authorization or payment systems
Use the Service to harm, harass, or attack any third party
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
Share your account credentials with others
Use automated systems to abuse the Service

7. Limitation of Liability

WebProbe is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

We do not guarantee that scans will detect all security vulnerabilities
We are not liable for any damages resulting from use of our Service
We are not responsible for actions you take based on scan results
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service

Professional Security Advice: WebProbe is a tool to assist with security assessment, but should not replace professional security audits. For critical systems, we recommend engaging certified security professionals.

8. Data Collection and Privacy

We collect and process data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to such collection and processing.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by WebProbe and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for:

Violation of these Terms and Conditions
Unauthorized scanning activities
Fraudulent or illegal behavior
Any reason at our sole discretion

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WebProbe from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

Your violation of these Terms and Conditions
Your unauthorized use of the Service
Your violation of any third-party rights
Your violation of applicable laws or regulations

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through:

Good faith negotiation between parties
Mediation if negotiation fails
Binding arbitration or courts of England and Wales as a last resort

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
